[kmail2] [Bug 278717] Can't read my email
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=278717 --- Comment #8 from Martin Koller kol...@aon.at --- I think what you're missing is a resource which loads your old inbox mbox file. What you find under ~/.local/share/akonadi/file_db_data... is just a _cache_ of the new mails (or part of the mails) not the mails themselves. Please check your kmail settings under Accounts - Receiving. You should have (or add a new one) of type mbox which points to the old mbox file - then you should be able to see all your old mails. To find your new mails (the ones you received from July 2011 on) should be somewhere else. Check your receiving accounts settings. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[kaddressbook] [Bug 260354] trust flag per address to allow displaying of HTML emails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=260354 --- Comment #7 from Martin Koller kol...@aon.at --- I have now removed all 2 addressbooks, re-added them again. With akonadiconsole I saw that akonadi_nepomuk_feeder was not running, which I then restarted from here and waited until it says Indexing completed. After the reindexing was done, I again started kmail, checked that on a new mail the addressee completion works for this contact, then clicked on the mail from this contact in my inbox and I STILL see the HTML source. This simply does not work. The addressbook I'm using here is a vcard dir. What I feel strange is that when I change the HTML flag for a contact, a NEW vcard file is created in the same directory. So in fact this vcard dir now has this contact twice (although kaddressbook only lists the one I changed) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[kaddressbook] [Bug 260354] trust flag per address to allow displaying of HTML emails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=260354 --- Comment #4 from Martin Koller kol...@aon.at --- This flag is named prefers to RECEIVE messages... - I'm talking about SEEING these messages as HTML. Maybe the flag is used for both directions ? If so, one should change the text to prefers to USE messages formatted as.. or something similar. BUT: The main problem is: that flag does not do anything. I changed it for one of my addressbook entries from which I have an HTML mail in my inbox. The inbox does not have the prefer HTML flag set, so when I select the message from this contact, I still see the html source with the red warning rectangle. Also sending to this contact does not create an HTML mail. But then I got the crash window of the akonadi_maildispatcher_agent with the attached backtrace -- Backtrace: Application: Mail Dispatcher Agent (akonadi_maildispatcher_agent), signal: Aborted [KCrash Handler] #6 0xb557d8c5 in raise () from /lib/libc.so.6 #7 0xb557f1d5 in abort () from /lib/libc.so.6 #8 0xb71b7cfa in qt_message_output (msgType=QtFatalMsg, buf=0x820e118 ASSERT: \false\ in file /home/KDE4/source/kdepimlibs/akonadi/specialcollectionsrequestjob.cpp, line 203) at global/qglobal.cpp:2260 #9 0xb71b7efb in qt_message (msgType=QtFatalMsg, msg=0xb7344cf4 ASSERT: \%s\ in file %s, line %d, ap=0xbfe643e4 X;j\267\020\070j\267\313) at global/qglobal.cpp:2306 #10 0xb71b8018 in qFatal (msg=0xb7344cf4 ASSERT: \%s\ in file %s, line %d) at global/qglobal.cpp:2489 #11 0xb71b8095 in qt_assert (assertion=0xb76a3b58 false, file=0xb76a3810 /home/KDE4/source/kdepimlibs/akonadi/specialcollectionsrequestjob.cpp, line=203) at global/qglobal.cpp:2007 #12 0xb76358ef in Akonadi::SpecialCollectionsRequestJobPrivate::resourceScanResult (this=0x81a2570, job=0x81a9460) at /home/KDE4/source/kdepimlibs/akonadi/specialcollectionsrequestjob.cpp:203 #13 0xb76369c7 in Akonadi::SpecialCollectionsRequestJob::qt_static_metacall (_o=0x81a40f8, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=2, _a=0xbfe64578) at /home/KDE4/build/kdepimlibs/akonadi/specialcollectionsrequestjob.moc:57 #14 0xb72ee69f in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x81a9460, m=0x806f500, local_signal_index=3, argv=0xbfe64578) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3556 #15 0xb6ed883c in KJob::result (this=0x81a9460, _t1=0x81a9460) at /home/KDE4/build/kdelibs/kdecore/kjob.moc:208 #16 0xb6ed7de3 in KJob::emitResult (this=0x81a9460) at /home/KDE4/source/kdelibs/kdecore/jobs/kjob.cpp:318 #17 0xb762f313 in Akonadi::ResourceScanJob::Private::fetchResult (this=0x81a1170, job=0x8222dc8) at /home/KDE4/source/kdepimlibs/akonadi/specialcollectionshelperjobs.cpp:150 #18 0xb76332fb in Akonadi::ResourceScanJob::qt_static_metacall (_o=0x81a9460, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=0, _a=0xbfe64788) at /home/KDE4/build/kdepimlibs/akonadi/specialcollectionshelperjobs_p.moc:49 #19 0xb72ee69f in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x8222dc8, m=0x806f500, local_signal_index=3, argv=0xbfe64788) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3556 #20 0xb6ed883c in KJob::result (this=0x8222dc8, _t1=0x8222dc8) at /home/KDE4/build/kdelibs/kdecore/kjob.moc:208 #21 0xb6ed7de3 in KJob::emitResult (this=0x8222dc8) at /home/KDE4/source/kdelibs/kdecore/jobs/kjob.cpp:318 #22 0xb75f10a7 in Akonadi::JobPrivate::delayedEmitResult (this=0x8223230) at /home/KDE4/source/kdepimlibs/akonadi/job.cpp:144 #23 0xb75f2196 in Akonadi::Job::qt_static_metacall (_o=0x8222dc8, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=6, _a=0x820df28) at /home/KDE4/build/kdepimlibs/akonadi/job.moc:68 #24 0xb72e9bc1 in QMetaCallEvent::placeMetaCall (this=0x820d7d8, object=0x8222dc8) at kernel/qobject.cpp:525 #25 0xb72f2d2b in QObject::event (this=0x8222dc8, e=0x820d7d8) at kernel/qobject.cpp:1204 #26 0xb5941404 in notify_helper (e=0x820d7d8, receiver=0x8222dc8, this=0x80909e8) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:4551 #27 QApplicationPrivate::notify_helper (this=0x80909e8, receiver=0x8222dc8, e=0x820d7d8) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:4523 #28 0xb5946743 in QApplication::notify (this=0x820d7d8, receiver=0x8222dc8, e=0x820d7d8) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:4280 #29 0xb66d12ea in KApplication::notify (this=0xbfe65018, receiver=0x8222dc8, event=0x820d7d8) at /home/KDE4/source/kdelibs/kdeui/kernel/kapplication.cpp:311 #30 0xb72d7dce in QCoreApplication::notifyInternal (this=0xbfe65018, receiver=0x8222dc8, event=0x820d7d8) at kernel/qcoreapplication.cpp:915 #31 0xb72dba48 in sendEvent (event=optimized out, receiver=optimized out) at kernel/qcoreapplication.h:231 #32
