[Bug 262807] New: Clicking on the summary view hangs kontact

2011-01-10 Thread Miguel Tadeu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=262807

Summary: Clicking on the summary view hangs kontact
   Product: kontact
   Version: 1.1
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: summary
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: m_ta...@yahoo.com

Version: 1.1 (using KDE 4.5.5)
OS:Linux

When I click on the summary view, kontact hangs for a long time. I'm figuring
about 2minutes. After experimenting with the summary plugins I found that the
ones causing the problem are the planner and the special dates. Disabling
those, will make it work fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1-Enable all summary plugins
2-Change to the summary view

Actual Results:
kontact hangs or a long time

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-24-generic
Compiler: cc

Summary: kaddressbook: bigger items on the contact list

Compiler: cc
OS:Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-22-generic

Hi,
with this 3 columns organization of the contact list, I think it would be cool
to have bigger list items for the address books and for the contacts. With
bigger items we would be able to see the contacts photos much better and get a
nice icon for the address books.

Thanx a lot for all

   Product: kontact
   Version: 4.4 rc1
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

Application: kontact (4.4 rc1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1))
Qt Version: 4.6.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.31-18-generic i686

-- Information about the crash:
Hi,
I'm launching kontact, which launches properly(all seems to be loaded), but
before I can do anything it locks. As much as I wait, I can't click on
anything. The only thing I could do was to kill it manualy, and when I did,
this crash report showed up.
Hope it helps

[Bug 193599] sometimes contacts are deleted from the address book

2009-06-04 Thread Miguel Tadeu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=193599

--- Comment #1 from Miguel Tadeu m_tadeu yahoo com 2009-06-05 05:33:11 ---
I think this is has to do with a remote access to the vcf file. I'm using fish
to access my contacts at work. I'm not very sure, but I think each time the
file is saved, I lose some contacts from the contact list.

Sometimes some of the contacts that I have in the address book just disappear.

from kde4.2.3. I'm using a vcf file to store the contacts.
