So the issue here is that KMail cannot be used with mail providers that rely on
OAuth, except Gmail.
This is at least Yahoo, Aol and (from what I read on the internet) Verizon.

Assign colors correctly also when the alpha channel is set.

DAV colors are in the form RGBA, whereas QColor takes them as ARGB.

Ok, the bug is in KDAv, in src/common/davcollectionsfetchjob.cpp,

line 305:  color.setNamedColor(colorValue);

This waits a color of the type ARGB, whereas the dav proides a RGBA color, as
specified by W3 [1].

Is it a Qt bug or should we implement it ourselves here?

Committed on 26/08/2017 at 11:56.

Korganizer can use CollectionColorAttributes for calendar colors

KOHelper now calls the EventViews functions of helper.h instead of KOPrefs
KOPrefs is not called anymore by Korganizer for colorResources managing.

#I did some operations with kmail and the date / message uid was changed

I was configuring bogofilter, so the action I did was (through a filter):

1) Add a header to the email (X-Bogosity)
2) Change the state of the email (Spam, Normal)

When I did that on all my messages, I realized that the message uid (what
Thunderbird writes as Order Received) has changed and doesn't represent the
reception order anymore.

As a result, when I synchronize my emails on a phone, for instance, they don't
come in the right order: to read my last emails, I need to download everything.

Also, it appears that a date has been changed as a result on the servers,
because one implementation shows me a date which is the one I made the header
update instead of the reception date.

Is it a bug in Kmail ? A wrong-doing of mine? Is there a way so that I come
back to the previous state?

Thank you

I would like to have a way to show all important emails or email tagged with
given tag.

There is currently a "Favorite folder" list, but what I want to track is not in
a given folder, but accross all accounts and folders.

Use-case: I need to remember to answer to a job offer (in my private account),
to review a patch on KApidox (in my kde account) and my brother wants to plan
the next climbing session (in my private account). It would be great to pin
them somehow and find them in a fast manner.

Currently the message view shows only:

Subject of the Email
>From : ...@example.com
To : ...@example.com
CC : ...@example.com

I would like to have the date as well, for example on the right of the last
line (in this case CC) or top right.

Otherwise I need to read in very small the date in the list, which is not
visible if you double click on the message to show it in its own window.

Thx
Olivier

[Akonadi] [Bug 356677] New: No backgrounds on notes

2015-12-14 Thread Olivier Churlaud via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356677

Bug ID: 356677
   Summary: No backgrounds on notes
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: oliv...@churlaud.com

Since the last big upgrade (I'm now on plasma 5.5 and Akonadi 5.0.51) the notes
don't have any background.

It's rather hard to read and seems to be directly written on the desktop
background.
