[kmail2] [Bug 369856] kmail crash on start [Thread 3 "QDBusConnection" received signal SIGSEGV]

2018-11-08 Thread PC LX
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369856

This bug happened when after upgrading kmail. Currently, I'm using kmail
version 5.7.2 and this bug does not occur. Can't retest it since I no longer
have the old version installed.

Since no one else complained (at least from what I can see here), it should be
OK to close this bug.

[Akonadi] [Bug 389500] New: akonadiserver crashed after an unhandled exception

2018-01-27 Thread PC LX
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389500

Bug ID: 389500
Summary: akonadiserver crashed after an unhandled exception
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 5.4.3
  Platform: Mageia RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: server
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: k...@pmc.com.pt
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: akonadiserver (5.4.3)

Qt Version: 5.6.2
Frameworks Version: 5.32.0
Operating System: Linux 4.14.15-desktop-2.mga6 x86_64
Distribution: "Mageia 6"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Was updating the folder from my IMAP server in kmail. I don't know if this was
the cause or just coincidental.

I think this is the first time I have seen this particular issue and I have not
been able to replicate, possibly because the state of both kmail and the IMAP
server have changed.

[akregator] [Bug 376807] New: akregator: article list does not work correctly when a unread or new filter is active and the setting mark as read after x seconds is enabled.

2017-02-22 Thread PC LX
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376807

Bug ID: 376807
Summary: akregator: article list does not work correctly when a
unread or new filter is active and the setting mark as
read after x seconds is enabled.
   Product: akregator
   Version: 5.4.0
  Platform: Mageia RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: k...@pmc.com.pt
  Target Milestone: ---

When the advanced setting "mark as read after x seconds" is enabled and the
article filter is set to show only unread or new articles then selecting one of
the unread/new article will cause it to be automatically marked as read after x
seconds. Then the selected article that is no longer considered unread/new is
filtered out of the list and the next unread/new article is selected.

After x seconds, again, this newly selected article is automatically marked as
read and the process repeats, until there are no more unread/new articles and
the initial list unread/new articles is now all marked as read.

The behaviour is not useful and prevents the setting "mark as read after x
seconds" and the unread/new filter from being used at the same time.

Don't know in what version this behaviour started, but older versions allowed
these two features to be used together in a useful way. I could filter the
unread articles and when I looked at an article it would be, after x seconds of
looking, automatically marked as read but the list would only change if it was
refreshed (F5) or the filter changed.

  Platform: Mageia RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Starting kontact.

Just before I upgraded the system, including KDE, plasma and kontact.
The upgrade was from Mageia 5 to Mageia 6/cauldron. It was working correctly
before.

I also get a bunch of (error) messages when I (re)start akonadi. Don't know if
it is related.

$ akonadictl restart
