I used to be able to create the search folder and the folders that I had seem to work. But then, after playing with the search and getting the error on persistent search I deleted it. If I now try to create the folder, kmail throws me to the welcome screen. After that, the search doesn't even work any more! It just work against akonadi. I want to sync my calendar/contacts/emails, but if it is this buggy and I have to wait 3 years, it just doesn't serve the purpose... I see them counted in the folder (under unread column) but I don't see them formated (blue colour) as unread. So, it is hard to find them unless you use the manual method described above. And like Kai, I also migrated and wouldn't like to reset and import everything manually. There must be a way to fix this.
