Trying to start kmail didn't work as it failed with Failed to fetch the resource collection as Local Folders was unconfigured. (seperate known bug, I know). Removing the migratorrc and running kmail-migrator --interactive seems to have migrated everything fine but gave 4 notifications about Kmail Folders: Unusable configuration. Looking at akonadi console it's configured fine though and kmail works, except that it's fetching my whole mail account again so it didn't migrate anything after all? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Install a Kubuntu 10.04 VM configure kmail with a disconnected imap account upgrade to 12.04 with do-release-upgrade -d and reboot Actual Results: The migrator shows up and immidiately gives an error that the migration failed and starting kmail results in a fatal ressource collection error that makes it unusable. My imap acc. still appears greyed out in the trash selection dialog and the mails end up in the local trash folder. Are there some special conditions that need to be met? So fetching a hundred mails over IMAP from my LKML folder is enough to trigger it, so: - open kmail - fetch a lot of mails with tray icon enabled. Actual Results: The tray icon jumps/flashes. Expected Results: The tray icon should stay in a fixed position in the tray. What kmail2 does is set the Trash folder to 'Trash' no matter what accounts trash folder I select which is in fact the local trash folder and not what I want. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: -Set up IMAP account. -In the account settings click on 'modify' so the Akonadi Resource window comes up. -Go to advanced -Set new Trash folder Actual Results: The field always shows 'Trash' as destination and the local trash folder is used when deleting mails. Expected Results: The Path to the IMAP accounts trash folder should show up in the settings field and deleted mails should be moved to that folder.
