Many thanks, finding the settings was far from obvious for me.

Worked well.

Where are the grammartool settings located?

In the module dialog I can select the grammartool but I cannot configure it.

2018-12-26 Thread Rainer Dorsch
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402577

Bug ID: 402577
Summary: Empty To/Cc field are not reported
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.9.1
  Platform: Debian testing
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: m...@bokomoko.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I recently get a complaint by a kmail user, that kmail does not send mail even
he is pressing the send button. At a first glance looked also weired to me,
since simply nothing happened after pressing send.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a message
2. Leave To/Cc/Bcc fields empty
3. Press send

OBSERVED RESULT

Nothing happens at all.

EXPECTED RESULT

A message saying that message cannot be sent if no recipients are specified.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian buster, kernel version 3.18
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.3
KDE Frameworks 5.51.0
Qt 5.11.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I think this functionality was present in an earlier version of kmail, but
seems to be broken right now.

2014-04-29 Thread Rainer Dorsch

Bug ID: 334098
Summary: akonadi_imap_resource crashes always after login
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 4.12
  Platform: Debian testing
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: chrig...@fastmail.fm
  Reporter: m...@bokomoko.de

Hello,

I get a segfault on my system with akonadi_imap_resource. I do not remember
that I did anything particular change in akonadi, kmail, or my IMAP server,
recently. I have not yet tried to setup a new imap account.

I would be happy to provide debug information on this issue, if it helps to
make akonadi more robust, otherwise I just try to setup a new imap account.

I developer information I get in the KDE Crash Handler (do I need to install
additional -dbg packages or run with KDE_DEBUG?):

The problem did not reappear since then.

Is akonadi opening more parallel connections now? Is that expected?

I now run into the issue with each start of akonadi/kmail2.

That is what I see on the server side. Is there anything more I can look at ?

--- Comment #4 from Rainer Dorsch m...@bokomoko.de ---
I confirm that I see this problem from time to time, unfortunately I have no
procedure to trigger it, deterministically. I own also the dovecot imap server,
i.e. I can provide debug messages from both sides.

When I run into the problem again, is there any specific information I should
collect, which may help you to better understand the issue?

Many thanks,
Rainer
