--- Comment #3 from Robin Haunschild 2011-05-24 09:20:41 ---
Thanks, let's hope it comes into Debian/stable or at least testing quickly (for
Debian habits, of course).

[Bug 273976] New: Creating notes to specific emails

2011-05-23 Thread Robin Haunschild
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=273976

Summary: Creating notes to specific emails
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Debian stable
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: mail
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: kon...@gmx.de

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS:Linux

It would be great to have the following extended functionality of Kontact:

I receive an email and want to make a note regarding this email. A right click
and selection in the context menu or drag and drop on the component "Popup
Notes" should offer the possibility to insert a note regarding this email.
Whenever I click on this email my saved not should pop up.

A similar part actually exists with the "Create To-do/Reminder ..." dialog.
Extending this, one might also have the possibility to combine this with the
"To-do List" that also the self written note(s) with the email and the reminder
pop up at the chosen remind time.

Reproducible: Always

I agree. Actually, I don't know if KMail/Kontact was retrieving new messages
but it might have the same cause.

[Bug 217507] New: KMail (within Kontact) crashes while deleting an email in an IMAP folder

2009-12-05 Thread Robin Haunschild
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=217507

Summary: KMail (within Kontact) crashes while deleting an email
in an IMAP folder
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Unlisted Binaries
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: kon...@gmx.de

Application that crashed: kontact
Version of the application: 4.3.1
KDE Version: 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2)
Qt Version: 4.5.3
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-020632rc8-generic x86_64
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux testing (squeeze)

What I was doing when the application crashed:
KMail embedded into within Kontact crashes while deleting an email in an IMAP
folder from Puretec (www.1und1.de). It occurs sometimes and not reproducibly. I
installed the kdepim-dbg and kdepim-runtime-dbg packages including their
dependencies from debian/testing but the crash reporting assistant told me the
report might not be useful. Please tell me if i need to install other dbg
packages to report useful bug reports for KMail and the other KDEPim
components.
