2011-01-20 Thread Hans-Rudi Denzler
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=263772

Summary: Auto Spell Check on/off not saved in notes.ics or
libkcal-*
   Product: knotes
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: hr.denz...@bluewin.ch

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.95)
OS:Linux

The read underline markings are a bit confusing in konsole commands. Disabling
'Auto Spell Check' is only temporary.

Having a settings option for new notes would be convenient too.

Reproducible: Didn't try

If I check all folders i with Konsole all mail counts are correct.
I my 'experimental' phase I had some mails only in the akonadi data base. With
kfind > content > containing text, I could locate those 7 missing mails. I
moved them with kmail to 'Local Folders' and then back. Now mail counts are
consistent.

One can see that Akonadi is seamlessly integrated. Alt + F2: akonadi with

Have you checked KMail settings > Zugänge (2. entry) > Receiving. There I find
the Akonadi resources as in comment #2. How is it in KDE 4.5.3 ?

If I use kfind with Search in: 'home directory' and Content > Containing text:
'Mail folder in wrong' then I see in case of KMail Folders in which file(s) the
mails are stored. In case of Akonadi, mails are also stored in the Akonadi data
base (4.6 Beta1).

In the File menu there is an import command. After importing you can also find
out where everything is stored and you can check consistency.

You may start ksystemlog as user (not root) > protocols > Others >
X-Sessions-Protokoll (.xsession-errors) with Filter: akonadi

(I deleted some Akonadi resources and added them again: IMAP-E-Mail-Server ?)

I copied the 7 missing mails in KMail-Maildir from KMail Folders > inbox to
Local Folders > Posteingang (inbox), then back to KMail Folders > inbox:
inbox/new dolphin: 15 files (112.0 KiB)

The mail count of kmail2 and dolphin is identical now.

Sizes still not consistent !

[Bug 246991] New: Kleopatra does not show any user interface under Win7

2010-08-07 Thread Rudi Wiener
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=246991

Summary: Kleopatra does not show any user interface under Win7
   Product: kleopatra
   Version: 2.0.4
  Platform: MS Windows
OS/Version: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: r.wie...@m-box.at
CC: m...@kde.org

Version: 2.0.4
OS:MS Windows

This happens under Windows 7 Professional. When I start up kleopatra nothing
seems to happen. After a second of HDD activity everything is over, Kleopatra
seems not to have started up. A look in the task manager shows no Kleopatra
under the apps, but kleopatra.exe under the processes. Looking at the system
with Sysinternal's process explorer shows that the following executionables
tree is active: kleopatra.exe - kbuildsycoca4.exe - dbus-daemon.exe. The last
one uses up quite some CPU-time, but nothing is visible. When I try to bing
kleopatra to the front of all windows I'm being told that there are no open
windows.
I'm working with an admin account.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just fire up Kleopatra.

Actual Results:
nothing of Kleopatra's user interface is visible

Expected Results:
show up Kleopatra's windows

I can reproduce the problem there with no printer output.
"> lp print.ps" gives correct printer output.

kmail's printer dialog (Strg+P).

KMail/File/Print.../Name: print to File (PostScript)
Output File: .../print.ps
Using Konsole: > lp print.ps

Normally I would print directly (NOT working), so I use the above workaround
which produces the correct printer output. The printer dialog in 4.3.0/1
doesn't behave the same as the version of e.g. KWrite/KDE3 (KDE3, Texteditor),
which can print directly.

gvim works with: set printdevice=hplaserjet3030

[Bug 206015] New: kmail doesn't print with USB-hplaserjet3030

2009-09-02 Thread Hans-Rudi Denzler
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=206015

Summary: kmail doesn't print with USB-hplaserjet3030
   Product: kmail
   Version: 1.12.1
  Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: hr.denz...@bluewin.ch

Version: 1.12.1 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 163",
KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS:Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.29-0.1-pae

Something is sent to the printer, but no output. kmail/kwrite/kdiff3 behave
same with KDE 4.3.0/4.3.1.

Postscript (lp print.ps) and PDF (okular print.pdf) printing is OK:

kwrite/KDE3, gvim, OpenOffice, firefox - is OK too.
