It is the same thing with kontact or others kdepim app

I've exactly the same problem ! My inbox view is empty whereas I've > 4000
messages. The counter is ok, but the view no...
When the messages are freshly downloaded, they appear in the panel. But, as
soon as I restart Kontact, they disapear !

I agree with you. Size is not the problem. But my view is empty... Not only for
the inbox folder but for others too. (Not all)

I add a LDAP address book. The contacts are loaded. All is ok. But if, I change
a value with an external software that is connected to the same LDAP, changes
are not visible in Akonadi ! (neither in kaddressbook) 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Add a LDAP resource
Update a contact by an external program
Check that the value has changed

Actual Results:  
Value is the same

Expected Results:  
Value have to be up to date
