One is my workingplace address and the other is my gmail address both of them are configured as disconnected IMAP. I sent a test mail from my workingplace address to my gmail address. The I went to my gmail folders, downloaded the message sent previusly from my other address, and started to reply to it. To the greatest surprise, kmail wanted to send the reply mail to my gmail address, not to the one it was sent from. I committed this test in the reverse layout and the same thing happened: If kmail realizes that the sender is me then it unconditionally wants to replace the recipient address with that of my current identiy upon replying. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create two identities/mailboxes in kmail 2. Send a test mail from one to another 3. Go to the another account 4. Try to reply to that mail from your other address Actual Results: kmail sends the reply to the address of your current identity, not to yout original sender address. It also took a very long time for KDE 4.2.2's kmail to synchronize with the IMAP server, but that version was responsive during synchronizing. However, today I deleted the contents of the ~/.kde4/share/apps/kmail/dimap folder, and I ran a script on the Courier IMAP server (Maildir based), which: -Deleted duplicate messages -Extracted the date information from every message's Date: header field and: -Renamed the file containing the message. I realized that changing knotes to RTF mode eliminates https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189050 , but all toolbar stuffs disappear when knotes is not the active window! The toolbar of the bottom line disappears, and the title bar changes on the top (even the close button disappears). Kmail wrote Moving messages... onto the status field (bottom left corner of the window), but the it started to use the hard drive heavily, get unresponsive (compiz made it gray), and virtually did nothing, not even showing a progress bar. Firefox (and kmail in kde3 as far as I can remember) automatically changes its state to offline and back to online as networkmanager swithes to offline and back. In addition to this, even after switched to offline state manually, after some minutes, kmail starts to complain about an inexpectedly closed connection to the server. Why does it have open connections to the server when it's in disconnected state? This worked well, even when upgrading from kde 3.5 to kde 4.1, but when I upgrade from kde 4.2.1 to kde 4.2.2, all my notes were lost!
