[kmail2] [Bug 414100] Text not visible when using dark theme
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414100 --- Comment #5 from Thomas Tanghus --- As I wrote in #428500 Many if not all HTML mail composers assumes that the background is light, and thus doesn't specify a background colour. If you use e.g. Breeze dark it often leads to black letters on dark grey background. Here it could possibly be solved by having a light background in HTML emails per default, perhaps with an option in Settings/Appearance/Colors. If the HTML email has a background defined it will be automatically rendered instead, and if it has a background defined there's a high probability that it also sets the font colour(s). It would - as far as I can see - solve both #317803 and #317198 and it would leave a very small (theoretical) subset where the text is difficult to read, as opposed to now when it is a very small subset that is easily readable. Thanks for catching my duplicate btw. I'm pretty sure I searched for "dark theme" but didn't get any results - but I could be wrong ;) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

They all work fine in Thunderbird, Nextcloud web-client and to a certain degree in SailfishOS. Two times within a week, the calendar, where I keep the events (the others are for Tasks, Journal and Contact Birthdays) doesn't show any events in Month view. First time I Shut down akonadi, removed every trace of the Nextcloud Akonadi agent, and recreated it. It worked fine for a day or two, but now the events are not showing up in korganizer. [kmail2] [Bug 336653] kmail inverts HTML view settings
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336653 --- Comment #2 from Thomas Tanghus --- OK, it seems I have found the reason: I tried a while ago to have a separate addressbook for whitelisting specific email adresses to show as HTML and load external references. As that was ignored in previous versions I disabled the addressbook and went back to just having it as default. Now the contact specific settings is taken into account, instead of using that setting, it inverts the global setting! This sounds like an honest mistake and an easy fix. My guess is that it is coded like this (pseudo code) renderHTML = globalRenderHTML; if(contactSettingRenderHTML) { renderHTML = !globalRenderHTML; } Where instead it should be: renderHTML = globalRenderHTML; if(contactSettingRenderHTML) { renderHTML = contactSettingRenderHTML; } While fixing it please consider only rendering the content after any contact specific setting has been read, because as it is now it first shows the plain text version and then afterwards it renders the HTML version. Also the addressbook in question was disabled. Shouldn't disabled addressbooks be ignored? Even though I would never have found the reason if they were ;) But great that whitelisting email addresses this way works now :) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 95064] Duplicates messages in imap folder after filtering
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95064 Thomas Tanghus changed: What|Removed |Added CC||tho...@tanghus.net --- Comment #80 from Thomas Tanghus --- Just wanted to join the choir ;) I only now got struck by this bug, and from reading https://blogs.kde.org/2012/10/17/three-days-berlin-or-improving-pim-user-experience I thought a fix or workaround would be backported to 4.9.3. I am now on 4.9.4 and get this: I two filters set up to catch mails from a github repository. 1. List-Id contains '' and CC contains => mark as important. The filter is set to keep processing if it matches. 2. List-Id contains '' => Move into folder 'Notifications/Github'. After filtering is applied 'Notifications/Github' contains two copies of the same mail. For now I'm going to disable the first filter until this is solved; KMail is still the best mail client around, and KDEPIM is really starting to shine now most Akonadi problems seems to have been addresses. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=310734 --- Comment #6 from Thomas Tanghus --- (In reply to comment #4) > What do you mean by 'assigned to the resource'? From OwnCloud UI? Currently from phpmyadmin ;) > If you're fine with posting the response XML please do so, I'll have a look. No problem. It's just test data. The ACL for the collection looks OK to me. It only has write-content permission, but the Akonadi DAV resource apparently interprets that as write including bind and unbind? The bind and unbind on the contained resource is superfluous, but the client should just ignore it as I understand from the RFC https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3744#section-3.9 The permissions are checked here btw https://github.com/owncloud/apps/blob/master/contacts/lib/sabre/addressbook.php#L67 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
