[kontact] [Bug 369247] Kontact 5.3.1: settings between Kontact and components (e.g. KMail) are not synchronized
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369247 --- Comment #2 from Till Schäfer --- sure, this is the example where I observed it first: 1. goto Settings -> Configure KMail -> Composer -> "Reply and forward using HTML if present" and change the setting to enabeld (lets assume it was disabled and we have enabled it now / it also works vice versa) and press OK. 2. goto Settings -> Configure Kontact -> Mail -> Composer -> "Reply and forward using HTML if present". The setting is still disabled. I have observed, that this is one way only. I.e. you need to change the components setting first and check the kontact setting afterwards. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

E.g. when setting an option in (1), clicking OK, and then entering (2), the old configuration (configuration state before the changes made in (1)) is shown in (2). independent of the dialog (1 or 2): the last applied configuration is always the used one. (verified over akonadi console, not only in kmail) Sometimes even complete directories get marked unread. Pressing F5 to update the folder does not resolve the situation in both cases. It does not show the relevant informations as fast as KGPG. ;Many daily use informations are hidden in sub-dialogs. Therefore, this is a wish for an explicit pgp view: - having an explicit filter for OpenPGP keys - allow a hierarchical view for pgp keys: -> showing subkeys / identities (i.e. the e-mail addresses) -> showing signatures for the pgp key (to decide it it may be trusted) - show a trust level Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
