[kio] [Bug 159204] Manage Sieve: problems with Capability-Response afer STARTTLS

2018-11-22 Thread Torsten Krah
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159204

I've tested it with current Kubuntu 18.10 using Kontact 5.8.3 and KDE
Frameworks 5.50.0.
Sieve does work - i can see my script on the server, so this is fixed, at least
for me :).

kio-sieve package used was this:

https://ubuntu.pkgs.org/18.10/ubuntu-universe-amd64/kio-sieve_18.04.3-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb.html

I'll try to test that asap - moved away using kmail / ksieve long time ago
because it did not work and there was no Exchange Web Services (EWS) support in
kmail for a long time in contrast to e.g. evolution.
I'll try to setup a VM with kmail + kio-sieve and test it - luckily my sieve
server side is still there :D

Would the versions from Kubuntu 18.10 be sufficient to test with?

Evolution did make progress here in contrast to KMail. There an evolution-ews
modul, using the Exchange Webservices API (which is good, because it does work
with proxies - where the existing mapi connector does only work with direct
access to the Exchange Server).

https://live.gnome.org/Evolution/EWS

This site is not up-to-date because OAB support is already there in 3.6.x..

So maybe this will be a solution for kmail/korganizer/kontact too.

Yeah.

You can compose the X-Face Header already (Identity Tab) and X-Face-Header is
already displayed if found in an email.
The "Face-Header" is already displayed but adding it to an email via Identity
(aka X-Face) feature is missing (should be possible to add both and they can
coexist per mail).

KMail can already display the face header, see here:

Hope KMail2 can this still too ;-).
This is about creating one like X-Face-Header support is already there.

  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general

ReportedBy: tkrah fachschaft imn htwk-leipzig de

Version: 1.9.9 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from:Ubuntu Packages
OS:Linux

If you got a smime certificate with two or more email attributes in the
subject, kmail issues everytime you want to sign or encrypt something a warning
about an unsure trust state of the certificate used, which looks like:

CN=User,EMAIL=x.x x x,EMAIL=y y y y

The warning is:

##
##

Thats a valid cert and i am trusting the issuer.
Using a certificate from the same issuer which looks like this:

CN=User,EMAIL=x.x x x

works without any warning.
Why kmail does complain about smime certs, which got more than one email
address? Is there a workaround yet or need this bug some code fix?

Tried that before reporting this wish.
It would work, however i don't want to have the same face header over all
