No response from reporter. Closing as REMIND.

I can't Re-create the bug because I can't Re-create the buttons!!!

It's not a crash, it's that the dang buttons won't come back to the toolbar and
STAY there!

Ok. Do this:

Remove the buttons from the main toolbar if they are there.
Now put them back.
Re-start the app. The buttons are gone again. They won't come back, and you
can't make them come back and stay there.

the only way I've been able to put them back on the toolbar is to copy them
from the Messege menu tree. But they will not be there the next time I start
the kmail program.

[Bug 183495] New: SIGSEGV Kontact tray close

2009-02-06 Thread clwatson
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=183495

   Summary: SIGSEGV Kontact tray close
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: clwat...@sonic.net

Version:(using KDE 4.2.0)
OS:Linux
Installed from:SuSE RPMs

I was trying to get the spam icons back onto the toolbar. I used the wizard
like before, but the icons would not show up. I went to configure toolbars and
the icons are there.

I decided to close the app completely. I closed the window, and then closed
the tray icons for the calendar, and then the kmail. That's when the crash
occured.

[Bug 90041] filter mark as spam problems

Me too. When I upgraded from KDE 3.5 to 4.2 and used kde3to4 transfer wizard,
everything worked. But the buttons for the mark as spam and mark as not spam
had no icons, just the generic blank ? icons.

When I tried to edit the toolbar, I could see the entries in the available
buttons that had icons, as well as a couple more entries that didn't. The ones
showing on the visible side (right hand side) showed that they were there,

I tried to move the ones that had correct icons over and remove the ones that
didn't.

Then all the icons and buttons for spam disappeared from the toolbar.

I re-installed all the spam stuff, bogofilter and perl spamassin, and all the
kontact and kmail apps from Yast.

Re-ran the spam wizard, and then went into the toolbar config again to see if
the entries were there.

Sure enough, they were the correct icons on the visible side. But the toolbar
never shows those buttons at all!!!

I can't get them back!

[Bug 152311] New: Move Message to two column list closes on mouse move

Summary: Move Message to two column list closes on mouse move
   Product: kmail
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

Version: 1.9.6 (enterprise 20070904.708012) (using KDE 3.5.7 release
72.2 , openSUSE 10.3)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.12-0.1-default

When I right click on a message and choose move to and begin navigating the
folder tree, some of the folders I open are two column folders. When these
open to the left, and the second column list is short, there is a blank area
alligned with the parent window. Moving the mouse from the parent to the
column on the left, causes the child window and the parent window to close and
brings me back to the right-click menu only.

The problem is that it can be difficult to get the mouse moved over to a
valid(non-blank) area of the child without triggering the close action by
having the cursor over a blank for too long.

It appears to me that the problem is in how the blank space is handled. Mouse
over the blank space should not cause the close any more than mousing over a
valid item in the list, and selecting the blank space should have no effect
as well. Only selecting a valid destination or another window should close the
child menu.
