Some more info:
If Networkmanager is running, but the interface(s) in use not managed by him
the result will be as reported. Closing down Networkmanager altogether makes
things work again.

Application that crashed: kmail
Version of the application: 1.12.0
KDE Version: 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.30.3 x86_64

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Steps to repeat:

- Search for example your inbox for certain emails
- Open search folder
- Select emails, in my case ctrl-a and then deselected one with ctrl-click
- move the bunch to a folder
- crash...

Extra facts that might interest you:
- This is an IMAP mail server
- Happened frequently in pre 4.3 versions of kmail
- Had successfully done the same thing about 5 times before in the same
session.

Hi,

Country setting = Finland
Language = Swedish

The new grouping message list in kmail shows Monday, Tuesday... in the
messagelist headers in Finnish. Yesterday and today is the expected Swedish,
which is OK. The date for the actual messages are also OK, only the headers are
wrong.

I do argue that if you do a search for a message, you really want to see it
if/when doubleclicking on it. At least I would like an option to open it. Now
just tried 4.1.82 and it shows the headers in the message window, but not the
contents??

When creating a new email or answering an old, composer will remove every blank
line in the result.
This makes the mails very hard to read and very ugly.

To repeat:
- Open composer (New mail)
- Create a test mail, for example:
test1

test2

test3

- Send the mail to yourself
- The result will be:
test1
test2
test3

This bug still seems to be in 3.5.9. Haven't tried the DIMAP.

[Bug 169783] New: Favorite folder auto update

2008-08-25 Thread dag
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169783

   Summary: Favorite folder auto update
   Product: kmail
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Version:(using KDE 3.5.9)
OS:Linux
Installed from:Compiled From Sources

Would be very handy to have the Favorite Folder pane autoupdate with the
recently used folders in a FIFO way.
Would need the following:
- Ability to lock down certain folders (always stay there)
- Ability to exclude certain folders (ie spam) from the Favorite list
- Parameter for max number of folders in the list
- Automatic add of a folder when you use it. At the same time auto remove of
the oldest entry of the removable ones.

This is implemented in some mailreaders (Exmh) and is very handy when you have
many folders and is sorting your inbox or other mailboxes.

It would also be nice if the Favorite folder pane would be customizable (Fonts,
color etc.)
