[kmail2] [Bug 334409] Drag and drop to a shell doesn't work for multiple files
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334409 --- Comment #4 from davidblunkett --- I think this bug (can't dnd multiple attachments) will remain once the current issue of broken attachments is fixed. I think the broken attachments is known (I don't know the bug #) and fixed upstream. I can't vouch for any of this one way or the other at the moment. At the moment: I can't dnd any files multiple or single I can't see any files inline D+D of files is a long established feature so i think it remains a valid bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 369424] auto completion of addresses doesn't start until backspace is pressed...
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369424 davidblunkett changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|UNCONFIRMED Resolution|FIXED |--- --- Comment #1 from davidblunkett --- I see this has been marked "resolved" but there are no details - perhaps someone could explain? BTW further tests - I "configured completion" and remove baloo search which has tidied up the results a lot but not fixed the basic problem - no completion until I've typed something and then deleted it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=320313 davidblunkett changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDSINFO |RESOLVED --- Comment #5 from davidblunkett --- I don't see this in 5.1.3 setting to resolved. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[kmail2] [Bug 334409] Drag and drop to a shell doesn't work for multiple files
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334409 --- Comment #2 from davidblunkett --- I can't check this in 5.1.3 because the smart attachments feature is broken - this is a known and reported bug which I think is fixed upstream but not in my distro yet. As far as I can tell in 5.1.3 drag and drop of multiple files is not possible (I can't select multiple attachments to drag them). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 348364] The does not contain field ignored
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348364 --- Comment #2 from davidblunkett --- I cannot confirm this for 5.1.3 because searching is broken there and all search produce no results regardless of the logic filters applied. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 369425] New: bringing up emails from IMAP is very slow and details appear missing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369425 Bug ID: 369425 Summary: bringing up emails from IMAP is very slow and details appear missing Product: kmail2 Version: 5.1.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: dav1dblunk...@hotmail.com Frequently, but not all the time, kmail is very slow bringing up emails leaving long pauses "retrieving emails" - I'm current using kubuntu 16.04 and this problem has started since moving here from 14.04 last month. In addition the attachment symbols are often missing in the list of emails, reading the email often, but not always, causes it to reappear. Sometimes this is just some emails, but, sometimes (at present) all the attachment symbols vanish. Hovering over the email in the list produces the same result - the tag showing attachment is missing even if the attachment is present in the email pane below. Sometimes this is fixed by selecting another mailbox and switching back but it is a bit random. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Select and email and wait for a long time for it to be retrieved Actual Results: Attachment symbols may or may not be present and there may be long delays retrieving emails Expected Results: Symbols should appear correctly and the random long delays shouldn't occur -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[kmail2] [Bug 369424] New: auto completion of addresses doesn't start until backspace is pressed...
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369424 Bug ID: 369424 Summary: auto completion of addresses doesn't start until backspace is pressed... Product: kmail2 Version: 5.1.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: composer Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: dav1dblunk...@hotmail.com If I start a new email and type the address the autocompletion / autosuggestion for email addresses does not start until I type a few characters and delete them and start again! Once I've done this everything is but until this there are no suggestions. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Start a new email Start typing the address - no autocompletion or suggestions Delete typing and start again - autocompletion and suggestions appear. Actual Results: No autocompletion or suggestions Expected Results: Autocompletion and suggestions should just occur I can't find any way to remove mis-spelt addresses from the list - this is annoying. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[kmail2] [Bug 358346] Kmail crash on startup
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358346 davidblunkett changed: What|Removed |Added CC||dav1dblunk...@hotmail.com --- Comment #1 from davidblunkett --- I have a similar problem in 5.1.3. kmail hangs "checking folder contents" - if I quit and restart I get a crash report (seg fault) and a new kmail, kmail remains useless (checking folder contents) until I log out and log back in (which I guess points to a backend failure of some sort). This has occurred a 1/2 dozen times in the last 48 hours so it is quite irritating! In one instance upon restart I appeared to have lost all email, IMAP and local folders - a message popped up and disappeared before I could read it and my email reappeared 20 minutes later. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[kmail2] [Bug 366534] New: Please make an option for attachments to appear under the current email rather than at the bottom
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=366534 Bug ID: 366534 Summary: Please make an option for attachments to appear under the current email rather than at the bottom Product: kmail2 Version: 5.1.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: dav1dblunk...@hotmail.com I get emails with huge numbers of quoted rubbish under them - it would be nice not to have to scroll down 100s of old emails to find the attachments - I realise (a) the mail format means that this isn't trivial and (b) smart attachment appear at the top but when I click these I'm warped to the bottom. I'd quite like to read the email and view the inline attachments at the same time - maybe a separate side pane for attachments? Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
