[korganizer] [Bug 392399] New: Applying a template does not enable the Apply button

2018-03-27 Thread Nikolaos Kakouros
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392399

Bug ID: 392399
Summary: Applying a template does not enable the Apply button
   Product: korganizer
   Version: 5.7.2
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: incidence editors
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: tterrani...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a template in Korganizer's event editor
2. Create a new event save it
3. Try to edit the event by applying the template only (make sure there are
changes to be introduced by the template). Hit 'Apply' on the template chooser.

Expected results:

The template info is introduced and the 'Apply' button in the event editor
becomes active. Clicking on OK should save the event with the template applied.

Actual results:

The template info is introduced but the 'Apply' buttons does not become active
and hitting OK does not save the changes (unless you have made further manual
changes).

Created attachment 111676

attendees tab in korganizer

The icons used in the Attendees tab of the event editor look really glossy and
out of place in the KDE5 plasma desktop. Plus, they overflow the fields.

[korganizer] [Bug 392397] New: Event templates do not track event categories

Title says it all. I do not know if this is a bug or a feature but it would
save a lot of time to have categories saved in a template. For instances, I
import a calendar from work that has 85 events. I want to edit them all to add
remindes and tags/categories. Having templates track all this info would save a
lot of clicking.

[korganizer] [Bug 392394] New: Month view jumps when editing an event

2018-03-27 Thread Nikolaos Kakouros
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392394

Bug ID: 392394
Summary: Month view jumps when editing an event
   Product: korganizer
   Version: 5.7.2
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: monthview
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: tterrani...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Korganizer in month view
2. Move to next month using button on the bottom right corner (eg April)
3. Edit an event that is scheduled for next month
4. Save to close any modal windows

Expected behavior:

The month view should stay on the next month

What happens:

The month view jumps to the current month. If you press again the button in the
bottom right corner to go the next month again, it goes two months ahead, ie
May. If you repeat the above one more time, it takes you three months ahead. It
seems internally the correct month is kept, but the view refreshes to the
current month.

Possible related info, my regional settings are set to Sweden.

I also have this on kmail 5.5.1 on arch. I think the icon is also the same used
for the instant messaging thing. Also, using cuttlefish and searching for
"unread" I could find a white icon that could be visible on dark panels.

The version is 4.81 beta1. When inserting a new contact, in the personal tab,

month, eg September, and then try to click on a month after September, it does
not work. It works for previous months.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
0. Run KAddressBook
1. Click on "New contact"
2. Go to "Personal" tab
3. Click the calendar icon next to the Birthdate field
4. Click on the name of the month
5. Try to select a later month

Actual Results:
The month did not change to the later one I have chosen.

Expected Results:
The calendar should switch to the later month I have chosen
