[Bug 298756] KAB calculates wrong age
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=298756 qqq...@gmeyer.df-kunde.de changed: What|Removed |Added CC||qqq...@gmeyer.df-kunde. ||de --- Comment #1 from qqq...@gmeyer.df-kunde.de --- Hi, today on Octobre 1st 2012 kaddressbook report the following Birthday/age combinations: (Jahre = Years) 23. November 1795 (217 Jahre alt) vs 24. November 1795 (216 Jahre alt) 29. Oktober 1900 (112 Jahre alt) vs Dienstag, 30. Oktober 1900 (111 Jahre alt) Samstag, 22. November 1800 (212 Jahre alt) vs 23. November 1800 (211 Jahre alt) Possible Reason (Speculation by PovAddict ob #kontact) kaddressbook seems to be assuming there are 365 days in a year i. e. ignores leap days. e. g. (today - 1795/11/23) = 79205, which is an exact multiple of 365 or: (today - 1800/11/22) = 77380 days, which is an exact multiple of 365 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=307519 Bug ID: 307519 Severity: normal Version: 4.9.1 Priority: NOR Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Summary: Klicking the searchbar does not remove focus from message list Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux Reporter: qqq...@gmeyer.df-kunde.de Hardware: Archlinux Packages Status: UNCONFIRMED Component: message list Product: kmail2 Please look at the Steps to reproduce. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click an email in message list 2. click into search field 3. Filter for some string in the subject of the clicked email 4. hit enter Actual Results: the selected email is opened in a separate window Expected Results: nothing, Reasoning: consistency: In many search fields all over the web hitting ENTER means start searching. [Bug 307371] telephone number entry field is used for resizing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=307371 --- Comment #3 from qqq...@gmeyer.df-kunde.de --- Hi, In the german translation the size determing entry is Bevorzugte Telefonnummer (preferred number). Why not shortening this to Bevorzugte ... and showing the whole only on mouse over? I think, showing the whole number is far more important than showing every entry of dropdown menu. A typical german mobile number (including country code) has 13-15 digits, so i would assume, that that's a reasonable starting point. I think that would probably suffice for most countries and even if it doesn't you'll keep at least 80 % of the number in view. Please note that it gets even worse if one has more than four numbers as the appearing scrollbar further reduces the size of the number field. There's plenty of free space in the internet pane on the right side, can't you use that? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
