I have one imap account which often breaks and showing up this dialogue:

"""
The server for account "$Account" refused the supplied username and password.
Do you want to go to the settings, have another attempt at logging in, or do
nothing?

Login failed, server replied: A03 NO Maximum number of connections from
user+IP exceeded ( mail_max_userip_connections=10 ) [ UNAVAILABLE ]
"""

When hitting "Try again" I will be asked for my password (which is correct) and
then this dialogue comes again.
I also can go to "Account settings" but I think everything is correct there.
When hitting "Cancel" I can see a notification:

"Ressource $Account is broken"

Reproducible: Sometimes

Expected Results:
Kmail should limit the count of connections to one server when it receives this
answer from server.

I realized that I only tried up and down keys and not left and right...

So in version 4.14.10 left and right is for navigating to the next or previous
message and up and down is for scrolling inside the message. Shift + left and
right is for selecting mails from the current mail n times up / down when you
hit left / right n times and Shift + up / down is for extending the selected
mails range up and down.

I really like the way it is, so this issue can be closed... The problem was
that I wasn't firm with this features...

every SMTP supports sending mails via any identity. As I understood the

[kmail2] [Bug 355264] New: Composer Dialogue should be zoom-able

2015-11-12 Thread sederic via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355264

Bug ID: 355264
Summary: Composer Dialogue should be zoom-able
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: sebastian.end...@online.de

The "textbox" in the composing window should be zoom-able (like in
thunderbird).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Composing a new message
2. Try to zoom with "Ctrl"+"scroll wheel"
3. Try to zoom with "Ctrl"+"+" or +"-"

Actual Results:
Nothing happens

Expected Results:
The text size should change

[kmail2] [Bug 355198] New: Feature: Navigation through Mails using Arrow Keys

2015-11-11 Thread sederic via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355198

Bug ID: 355198
Summary: Feature: Navigation through Mails using Arrow Keys
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: UI
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: sebastian.end...@online.de

Navigation through mails should be possible using the arrow keys, (even if the
focus is on the mail preview window) - like in Thunderbird ("up" for the
previous message and "down" for the next message).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Focus a mail from the list
2. Hit up and down key

Actual Results:
Nothing happens

Expected Results:
The next or previous mail should be displayed in the preview window.
