Not all 2970 mails are displayed in the trash messages list

I have the same problem as related in the report. However this is mainly
related to the trash folder. As you can see in the attachment I added, I have
some 2970 mails in the trash (of which 75 are unread spams), but only a few of
them are displayed.

Message box of the error

Quite regularly, I get a message box about a strange error. It says NO No
items found.. That should be related to filtering, but it is a bit annoying
and uncomprehensible.

[Bug 156905] Akregator article view does'n use adblock filters

2012-05-18 Thread tnemeth

(In reply to comment #9)
I've been using Liferea until now, but because it crashes way too often to
my liking, I wanted to switch to Akregator. But because of lack of any
working adblock in Akregator, reading the feeds becomes a pain. Sadly, I
think I have to stick with Liferea until this is fixed...

RSSOwl seems to fit for the task, too...

Bug ID: 299483

Classification: Unclassified

I had found I had no contact list in the address book at startup. It happened
to be because

1. akonadictl stop (or just after a clean installation)

4. akonatictl start

I have the same behavior here with KDE 4.6.4, kmail 1.13.6 using kubuntu
packages.

I even tried to make it boot through system settings' automatic startup. I even
made a script to launch akonadi before kmail is started, but still sometimes
kmail is launched sometimes not...

[Bug 277083] New: Akregator fails to sort articles when changing from Unread to All articles selection

What happens after I clicked on View all

Version: 1.6.6 (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS:Linux

Hi,
I usually use akregator with only unread articles displayed for a feed. If I
change
the combo from Unread to All so that I can read again older articles, they
aren't
displayed sorted (I sort them by date, most recent first).
I think that the slotActivateSearch() method (which is launched when
searchCombo
is modified) does not work properly when d-searchText is empty or does not
trigger the filterproxymodel as it should.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- select to view only unread articles in a feed
- sort them by date
- mark all of the articles as read
- select to view all the articles

Actual Results:
articles are no more sorted by date

Expected Results:
they should still be sorted by date as the columns selection tells

This is how the feed is before I change from Unread to All.

For both screenshots, look at the Date column: in the capture-2.png file
articles
should be presented most recent first, but instead they are in random order.

possible CAUSE: automatically word wrap of kmail

WORKAROUND: deactivate Word wrap at column at Options/Composer Page/General

I have the same problem as the bug's author. Indeed I have word wrapping
enabled but it should only work for long lines, not for very long words
that
are mainly URLs.

Lines must not be too long for better reading. But URLs must not be
splitted
in order to allow clicks on the to open the right page. Only opening

http://www.verylong.url/containing-

instead of

http://www.verylong.url/containing-something_for_auto_word_wrap.html

is not the way to go.

I agree.

Akonadi fails to find a running nepomuk service on my computer (because I don't
want it). Even if it's not a major problem, it still generates an error log and
akonadi's auto-test window is annoying.
Moreover, even if akonadi is running, kmail still closes when I click on the
close
button of akonadi's auto-test window. _VERY_ annoying.

Useless service should not be mandatory services on a computer. But if they
fail
like that, they should entirely be removed !
