mail)
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.10.5
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: ubu...@konfido.net

Application: kmail (4.10.5)
KDE Platform Version: 4.10.5
Qt Version: 4.8.4
Operating System: Linux 3.8.0-29-generic x86_64
Distribution: Linux Mint 15 Olivia

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Nothing, i.e. kmail was in background, maybe fetching mail via IMAP. It does so
every 5 minutes. This problem occurs (almost?) every time kmail is running for
more than a few minutes.

- Custom settings of the application:

Only IMAP folders, no POP3

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

akonadi_imap_resource (4.7) on KDE Platform 4.7.3 (4.7.3) using Qt 4.7.4

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Putting computer out of suspend mode. Happend once with hibernation, but that
time it was another imap folder.
(https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=731558) Once while doing something
with LibreOffice Writer, minutes (about 5-10) after suspend(!). And I do not
remember the times before.

[Bug 287085] New: akonadi_imap_resource crashes

2011-11-20 Thread neo6238-ubuntu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=287085

   Summary: akonadi_imap_resource crashes
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: neo6238-ubu...@yahoo.de

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS:Linux

Purely randomly. But yet always when I had at least so important work to do,
that I could not use the crash handler (that opens) to file a report.
Kmail2 is not even open.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
no clue, sorry. it happens randomly, but more than once, so might not be a
coincidence

Actual Results:
crash handler, kmail does still work when you start it

Expected Results:
no crash handler

Oops, sorry I wanted to ask what debug packages are needed for the (let's hope
never) next crash.
