I'll try to clarify. Kwallet is called by kmail -- which is not started yet (at
least not by me). This is what is running right after boot with no further
action of me:

[kmail2] [Bug 357061] Kmail5 crashes on shutdown

2016-01-10 Thread wodenhof via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357061

There seems to have been an update. Now I get the kwallet popup when I log in
to KDE (whatever for). When I start kmail the normal screen appears and on top
of it is the popup telling about kamil crashing etc.
Sending the crash-information is not possible. I stored the report on the disk
but I don't see how to upload it here... Ah, I just tried againto send it,
maybe it worked, I didn't get any messages about success though and I wasn't
asked for my description of the problem.

When I close the popup kmail works. Quitting kmail and re-starting it starts
the same cycle of events.

[kmail2] [Bug 357472] Kmail2 crashing during shutdown of Kmail2

2016-01-03 Thread wodenhof via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357472

The popup with the crash-message and invitation to report it comes up during
the next _start_ of kmail2, i.e. it is not the same behavior like during the
first bug I reported of this type . HTH.

[kmail2] [Bug 357313] New: Column-width in the main window, i.e. "subject", "from", "date" not kept, crowded to left

2015-12-29 Thread wodenhof via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357313

Bug ID: 357313
Summary: Column-width in the main window, i.e. "subject",
"from", "date" not kept, crowded to left
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.1
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: woden...@web.de

After start of Kmail5 the headers over the main window like "subject", "from",
"date" etc. are compressed to a few millimeters width at the left side. To make
entries below readable, every column has to be re-sized with the mouse.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Kmail
2.
3.

Expected Results:
Columns should keep the size assigned in the previous session.

[kmail2] [Bug 357310] New: Local folder and sub-folders are doubly shown (i.e. English and German)

Bug ID: 357310

   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.1

Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: folders
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: woden...@web.de

I'll append a screenshot (that is I would, but somehow one can't?!?), but
summary says it all already...

On the leftmost side, where the directory-tree shows external mail folder and a
local folder there exists a "Local folders" with its sub-folders and below that
a "Lokaler Ordner" again with the same sub-folders (in German).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just start Kmail5
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Folders show double

Expected Results:
Only one folder-(structure), preferably the localized (in my case German).

How can I add an attachment (.png file)?

I use Kmail5 (Plasma). Click on leftmost entry in the top menu (Files), line
"Import messages", then a popup comes where I first select mozilla/thunderbird
then choose a target-folder. HTH.

[kmail2] [Bug 357060] New: Import of Thunderbird mails doesn't work

2015-12-22 Thread wodenhof via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357060

Bug ID: 357060
Summary: Import of Thunderbird mails doesn't work
   Product: kmail2

When I start the import, I first select mozilla/thunderbird then choose a
target-folder (why does it have to be a new one when the import software
creates its own anyhow below the new one?).

Subsequently at all source folders in the .thunderbird folder (in my case
/jwy92t9m.default) are treated as mail folders -- but they are not. In my case
they are abook.mab, crashes, ImapMail, pluginreg.dat, storage.sdb,
addons.json ... and some 40 more, which are not mails. The subfolders with the
mails which are there too, are found but can't be opened.

If this is no bug, better i.e. more succinct instructions in the relevant popup
might help, at least I couldn't find the correct handling.

I use 15.08.3 on openSUSE Leap 42.1. The bug is still there.
