Summary: wish: improvements for tab handling (short-cuts, context-menu) Product: kmail Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: m.w...@web.de Version: (using KDE 4.3.3) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I just tried tab handling in Kmail, just to see, if if makes sense for me, even though it does not handle mail and composer windows too. Hereby I noticed something else missing, which could be easier to implement. It seems like there are no keyboard shortcuts, mouse-keyboard-short-cuts and no tab handling in the context menu. There is missing CTRL-T -> for opening a new tab CRTL-left-mouse-click -> for opening selected (folder) in a new tab mouse-middle-click -> for opening selected (folder) in a new tab and no context-menu -> for opening selected (folder) in a new tab There could be also -> duplicate tab in the context-menu of a tab and a "unclose tab" in the context menu of a tab. (with keyboard-shortcut CTRL-R) In preparation for an increased tab use there should be also - detach tab (with short-cut CTRL-D) in the context-menu of a tab - a tab list in the context-menu of a tab There might be more "standard actions", but these are the ones, I came up with and use with browsing. Would be nice to see this implemented. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
