Check Mail: checking local folders (as of now) makes sense, this way you can sync the akonadi db with changes in your local folders, eg. after doing a sync between two computers or another mail client modifying your local folder directory. It should be excluded by automatic check though, but this is a resource configuration issue. I have create a patch which solves this issue... Thoma, if you or someone is able to reproduce the other issues then please let me know what are the exact steps so i will reproduce it and i will fix it...
