A KDE 4.x KMail ist consuming VERY much CPU resources mostly all the time. I'm using OpenSUSE 11.3 and 11.4. Sometimes it's not possible to work with it. It works as following: 1 I am reading in Kontact/kmail my mail messages in full screen window. After reading the mail I click closebutton (top right) By accident I click close again and that closes (unwanted) Kontact/Kmail 2 So I restart Kontact in the same desktop and that results in the 2 high CPU consumption processes. Only shutting down the system and start it again or the combined Restart version correct the high CPU consumption situation for the 2 mentioned processes. Hopefully this helps.
