I have open Suse and kde 4.6.00 Hi, I think there is a routine missing controlling the Tag function that , like a unique index in a database, sorts out the multiples, and presents one of each tag. I don't think this is confined to any particular distro, it is in the Nepomuk, or Akonadi control routines. You change a category in Kaddressbook, and suddenly you have every tag listed in the box! This does not happen in Korganizer, because you create the tags like earlier versions, and they are stored in the config files. I have done the Nepomuk delete, and the Akonadi fix . The problem is still there, so I believe a control is missing. Hi, I have had the tags Run Amok like you have experienced. I think there is no routine there to make unique each tag for selection. Open the dialog for a category in Kaddressbook, and after it gathers up the tags, there are numerous of each tag presented. I noticed this also with Dolphin and tags. Select a tag, and the list for each tag has many entries for each. Each time, kaddressbook is restarted all catergories are increased by 1, each single. And deleting them does not work, an empty category keeps staying alive.
