At work most people use exchange and a few one use other mailer. In all mail from exchange the sender's picture were not display. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=284695 --- Comment #10 from themroc rauchweihe gmail com 2011-10-27 18:57:21 --- OK, some more details: Nepomuk seems partly to work, because creating a new contact with picture at an other PC (with an older version of kaddressbook [rectangular pictures]) and then transferring to ~/.local/share/contacts on the current PC makes the picture after update the contacts visible at once. But, updating the picture of an contact with picture at an other PC and then transferring to ~/.local/share/contacts on the current PC cannot make the picture visible! Furthermore I can attach an other mail address to an contact with picture, which is already displayed in Kmail: The picture is shown at once for the new added mail address in senders list.
