Summary: mail check not working after hibernation of a laptop Product: kmail2 Version: 4.7 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: piotr.golo...@cern.ch Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: Linux I upgraded from Fedora 14 to 16 on my laptop, and this is the first time akonadi is used as KMail's backend. I "freeze" my laptop (suspend), and then wake it up. All the KDE session seems OK. However, kmail does not refresh any folder, and I do not see the new emails in my IMAP resource. Even when I click on an existing message in a list, I cannot see its content. the method I found to get the things working back again was to 1) stop kmail 2) restart akonadi completely using "akonadictl restart" in commandline 3) start kmail again if I don't stop kmail before restarting akonadi, I get strange artifacts such as only a part of messages being visinle Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) have kmail running, with IMAP resource 2) hibernate, and then "unfreeze" your laptop Actual Results: folders do not refresh; "refresh folder" doesn't do anything Expected Results: After "unfreezing" and checking an email, I should see new emails in my mailbox OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.1.1-2.fc16.x86_64 Compiler: gcc -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
