This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been
unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still
present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0
or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about
three months.

I just encounter this issue. It happens after mariadb upgrade that forces me to
delete ~/.local/share/akonadi so that kmail will recreate the folder and its
contents again. I only have 3 accounts in KMail so it's easily spotted. I add a
screenshot to the attachment list.

In Kontact 4.10.3 I can reorder the accounts in Settings-Kmail
Settings-Accounts-Adjust order Accounts, which have immediate effect pressing
Apply.
When changing in the context menu of the header of the Folder List to Manually
by Drag and Drop, this order is not obeyed and the account are reordered. I
could not change that order by drag-and-drop.
