https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381439 --- Comment #3 from t...@ewetel.net --- Update: Issue is still present in 5.5.6 (KDE Neon was updated yesterday) But now I found out, that there is something wrong with the indexing: A look into the folder’s properties tells me, that the folder contains 778 items, but only 775 are indexed. After reindexing the folder, the result is the same. So I figure there are some messages corrupt; at least they cannot be indexed... I’m on up-to-date KDE Neon and I can confirm this bug. I tried to create a search folder looking for messages in ~10 different mail folders (from 3 different accounts), but it tells me that 2 folders are not indexed yet. After hitting "Reindex", I have the same situation as Andrew: nothing happens (at least the progress bar doesn’t indicate it). What’s strange though, is that the corresponding folders report to be indexed – if you look into folder’s properties (rightclick on folder->Folder Properties->Service (last tab)).
