Changing message fonts does not fix the issue unfortunately :/ My guess is that I'm having an issue with the message rendered component. Any hints how to debug that? The message preview (as well as opening a message in a new window) is empty - I cannot select any text whatsoever. I also tried removing/reinstalling the themes but the issue persists. Could you change your colors ? configure->colors->"use custom color" or disable it if it's activated. For me the problem is not rendering is a color problem.
