I can reproduce this 100% of the time. After a certain amount of time (approximately 5 minutes, I haven't exactly timed it yet) Kontact crashes. I was browsing and doing file management when Kontact crashed after a few minutes in the background. Kontact reliably crashes every time a few minutes after running it. Seems to work correctly before the crash. I also tried this with just KMail running, but same result.
