Public bug reported: The network quit to work after some time 30 minutes more or less and is impossible to restart the network or the via-rhine card with rmmod via-rhine and modprobe via-rhine. I have tested to add noapic and noacpi to the kernel line and the VIA- RHINE card work fine, but after several minutes the system freezes, first I have got the keyboard and the mouse both usb disconnected and immediately the system freezes. I have testing and trying to solve or have some workaround, so I add noapic to the kernel line and this make the net work fine, but after several minutes the system freezes and disconect keyboard and mouse usb, as well I have tried with noacpi with the same results, the best result is around 1 hour and half working well but finally the system freezes. Systemd 210. I`m running Ubuntu 12.04 updated till today (20 Jun 2014 ) and aswell Debian Testing with KDE updated and I have the same trouble the network is not working after a 30 o 45 minutes; I can not restart the network so if I wanna have the network running well I must restart the machine.
