I installed windows 7 on the laptop (long story!) . The keyboard
backlight doesn't work on it, too. However, it used to work. It looks
like my machine has a hardware defect. Could you close the bug?

  The keyboard backlight of my SONY VAIO SE15 does not work.

  This is the corresponding dmesg output
