[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1411180] Re: 1814:3290 [HP 240 G1 Notebook PC] WiFi does not show networks after updates
I have not tried any other kernels and I am not sure which I was running before the problem occurred, but I have realised that the problem is intermittent - it happens on boot and the only solution is to reboot. As I have not had the laptop long (a month) so I cannot confirm that the problem occurs only with particular kernels. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1411180 Title: 1814:3290 [HP 240 G1 Notebook PC] WiFi does not show networks after updates Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: After applying updates today my network card is still detected, but no networks are listed. dmesg output ends in [ 542.297959] ieee80211 phy0: rt2800_wait_wpdma_ready: Error - WPDMA TX/RX busy [0x0068] [ 543.900163] ieee80211 phy0: rt2800_wait_wpdma_ready: Error - WPDMA TX/RX busy [0x0068] [ 543.900172] ieee80211 phy0: rt2800pci_set_device_state: Error - Device failed to enter state 4 (-5) reverting to kernel 3.16.0-28-generic did not make any difference. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1245819] Re: RT3290 driver keeps disconnecting.
Seems to work with 3.12 kernel, although I have not yet had it running very long. There have been no unexpected disconnects, and it reconnects after suspend (which previously required removing and reloading the module). ** Tags added: kernel-fixed-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1245819 Title: RT3290 driver keeps disconnecting.
