I'm using Mint, but the update manager links to here as kernels aren't changed by the Mint team. I'm using the rtl8821ce wifi driver which previously had trouble loading again after waking up from sleep. Not every time though and without any pattern. The recent kernel, 5.15.0.46.49~20.04.16 had fixed this problem, which had gone on for over a year before that. Just now I updated again to linux_5.15.0-48.54~20.04.18 and the problem is back. Waking up, sometimes the wifi doesn't work, NetworkManager icon says it's connected but nothing works. I have found that suspending and waking back up, then sudo modprobe -r rtl8821ce, sudo modprobe rtl8821ce will get it working again but that's the only way without shutting down. cat /proc/version_signature Ubuntu 5.15.0-48.54~20.04.1-generic 5.15.53 sudo lspci -vnvn 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
