(In reply to comment #166) i currently have 1x mDP HDMI; 1x DVI on Dock; and builtin. so 3 displays are possible with dock and builtin. and vga on the laptop directly may be also usable. i read that MST is currently in progress by some intel devs, i think it was on phoronix. That information is wrong. That is beta firmware. The Lenovo guy in there said final firmware would likely be released next week. And I asked for a bootable CD update, and other people did so as well. I have two Ultradocks (one at work and one at home) --- would it be helpful if I keep one unupgraded for Me too. I can help as well. now? From looking at the intel-gfx list it sounds like you are planning on changing the infrastructure to use some new infrastructure in the next kernel version or two?
