[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1380315] Re: [Dell Inspiron Desktop 3847] Bluetooth not working - "Bluetooth: Error in firmware loading"

2014-10-13 Thread Rob van den Berg
just updated bios, bluetooth is working
but then again, it worked on and off before the bios update :-)
will let you know if it keeps working

sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
A05
08/18/2014

bios is definitely updated ...

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1349752] Re: Bluetooth not working - "Bluetooth: Error in firmware loading"

2014-09-12 Thread Rob van den Berg
I'm sorry for my lack of feedback :-/

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Bluetooth isn't that important to
me but still I think this should work.
I'm suspecting it might have to do with usb failure as in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1351282

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1351282] Re: Sometimes USB does not work.

2014-09-12 Thread Rob van den Berg
problem is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't ... so installing a
new kernel and usb works fine that isn't a solution is it.
But today usb stopped working and I found this in kern.log

Sep 12 11:52:55 lesruimte kernel: [ 22.266768] xhci_hcd :00:14.0:
HC died; cleaning up

attached is the kern.log

2014-08-01 Thread Rob van den Berg
