[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1875698] Re: Touchpad doesnt responds at all

2020-05-04 Thread Shreyas Songirkar
I'm attaching the dmesg log for the above boot parameter "dyndbg='file
drivers/input/* +pt; file drivers/hid/* +pt' hid.debug=1 i2c-hid.debug=1
log_buf_len=32M", also appending above parameter didn't worked !!
Just to clear, im appending the above parameter to

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="i18042.reset quiet dyndbg='file drivers/input/*
+pt; file drivers/hid/* +pt' hid.debug=1 i2c-hid.debug=1 log_buf_len=32M"

and not to

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""

Thank you.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1875698] Re: Touchpad doesnt responds at all

2020-05-02 Thread Shreyas Songirkar
Hello, Appending above "psmouse.synaptics_intertouch=1 hid.debug=1
i2c-hid.debug=1 log_buf_len=32M" worked on the first restart quite
properly,there showed a touchpad driver on xinput list cmd, but some issues
continued at that point-
1) pointer moved automatically for a while
2) Suddenly stopped working for a while.
3) Suddenly pointer disappered.
And now again, on reboot the touchpad isn't working at all, same issue is there
even on appending the line, again.Also, no touchpad driver is shown
Attaching the dmesg.log PFA.

Hello Timo,
 As you commented the affects of my reported bug, can you just help
of getting through this.
   To be frank, I'm not that familiar to ubuntu, started using it just
3-4 months ago. So, can you just provide me stepwise commands from basic to
get rid of this bug.
Thanking you,
Shreyas
