[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1842320] Re: Out of Memory on boot with 5.2.0 kernel
I have a similar issue. I upgraded to 19.10 from 19.04 today. After grub, I get this message: "error: out of memory. Press any key to continue..." Then kernel panic message (image attached). I have been unable to successfully boot using the workaround above. The kernel is shown in grub is 5.3.0-18. My computer is an Intel NUC (Skull Canyon), 16GB RAM, Intel NVMe, 2 x 2560 x 1440 displays. ** Attachment added: "Kernel panic screenshot" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1842320/+attachment/5298357/+files/IMG_20191019_174025.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1842320 Title: Out of Memory on boot with 5.2.0 kernel Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Upgraded from 19.04 to current 19.10 using "do-release-upgrade -d".
