[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1413363] Re: bluetooth speaker and suspension issue

2016-03-07 Thread TarotChen
I can reproduce this on krillin-rc274 with following steps:

1.Pair a bluetooth speaker
2.Open the music app and play music
3.Turn off the bluetooth speaker (the playback pauses)
4.Wait a few seconds, then turn on the bluetooth speaker
5.Wait until the speaker reconnects
6.Tap on play button to continue playing

->the sound comes from the phone

7.Close music app
8.Launch music app to play music again

-> now, the sound is routed to Bluetooth speaker

Expected result:
The sound should be routed to bluetooth speaker after step 6

Title:
  bluetooth speaker and suspension issue

Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  STEPS:
  1. Open settings bluetooth
  2. Turn on your blue tooth speaker
  3. Pair the speaker
  4. Open the music app
  5. Play music
  6. Pause the music
  7. Let the phone suspend
  8. After a while it goes into deep sleep and the speaker disconnects
  9. Wake the phone press the play button

  EXPECTED:
I expected the music to play out of the bluetooth speaker

  ACTUAL:
A long pause, then a click then the music plays from the internal speaker.
You can no longer get the music to play from the bluetooth speaker.

  Things I've tried:
Reboot the phone re connect to the bt speaker music still plays from the loud
speaker on the phone.
Turned off the speaker, restarted it still plays through the Loud speaker on
the phone

  WORK AROUND:
Forget the connection. Re pair the device now press play now it works as
expected.

Title:
Since Bluez5, headsets don't reconnect audio when reconnecting

Status in Canonical System Image:
  Confirmed
Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Pairing a Bluetooth headset (A2DP) seems to work fine. After pairing,
the phone successfully switches to transmit audio over Bluetooth. When
disconnecting the Headset again, the phone successfully switches audio
back to the integrated speaker. However, on a reconnect without
pairing, the headset seems to connect properly, but it doesn't route
audio any more to the headset. Despite the headset being connected,
audio is still routed to the integrated speaker. A reboot does not
seem to help. The only way to get back to Bluetooth audio streaming is
to delete the device from the settings, and pair it again, which makes
  it work once again.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1519594] Re: No sounds for ongoing call in both sides when connecting a BT speaker

2015-11-26 Thread TarotChen
Use another device to pull out the syslog with following steps:

1.Enable debug info
phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ sudo mount -o remount,rw /
phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ sudo sed -i 's/exec \/usr\/sbin\/bluetoothd/exec
\/usr\/sbin\/bluetoothd -d/g' /etc/init/bluetooth.conf
phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ sudo sed -i 's/--start/--start --log-level=debug/g'
/usr/share/upstart/sessions/pulseaudio.conf
Add '-d' to the exec line in /etc/init/ofono.override
2.Reproduce the issue
3.Pull out syslog

If still doesn't work, please let know what is missing.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1519594] Re: No sounds for ongoing call in both sides when connecting a BT speaker

2015-11-26 Thread TarotChen
Also, when re-testing, I aware that after call is established, the call
is routed to bluetooth device by default and no voice. Tap speaker icon
on live calling page to switch audio resource to ubuntu phone and I can
hear the voice on phone.

Hope this can help.

Issue happens for arale only when connecting the same BT mouse, but
krillin and mako work as expected.
