Title:
Ubuntu does not resume (wake up) from suspend

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Whenever Ubuntu gets into suspend state, I cannot wake it up.
-Keystrokes start the fans but screen does not turn on and Ubuntu still seems
to be suspended because in my teamviewer account the computer is still offline.
-Power button clicks do not help
-I always have to turn off computer by holding power button and then turn it
on again.

The only kernel that works is the following: "linux-image-5.0.0-1070
-oem-osp1". But with this old kernel I run into different problems.

I have the latest BIOS version from Dell (released 2020-11-27) and the
  latest updates in Ubuntu 20.04.

I will post logs during suspend and important logs (found in Logs gui
  tool)

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1870837] Re: BLE not working; hcitool lescan says 'Set scan parameters failed: Input/output error'; Ubuntu 20.04 kernel

2021-01-22 Thread motoroler
Also experiencing this issue. Took a long time to google this thread.
Really hope for a fix in recent kernels. Please, let me know if any
diagnostic/debug information or testing is required, I'm ready to
assist.

Title:
BLE not working; hcitool lescan says 'Set scan parameters failed:
  Input/output error'; Ubuntu 20.04 kernel

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Hi,

after some testing with Ubuntu 20.04 beta I couldn't get hcitool
lescan working. I get the following error:

  hcitool lescan
Set scan parameters failed: Input/output error

  LMP Version: 5.1 (0xa) Subversion: 0x100

It is not hardware related, since I get the same error with a USB
  bluetooth dongle:

  hcitool -i hci1 lescan
Set scan parameters failed: Input/output error

hcitool scan is working fine on both devices; bluetoothctl is also working
and able to find ble devices.
I would normally prefer bluetoothctl, but I got a software which is based on
hcitool.

  dmesg shows this errors:

present!
  [ 138.152722] debugfs: File 'le_max_key_size' in directory 'hci0' already
