[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1315202] Re: 8086:08b1 (rev 73) [Asus M5A97] Intel AC7260 Drops AC WiFi
Update: Latest Ubuntu 14.04 update has corrected connectivity issue. Full 70/70 connection on AC wifi on 2.4ghz, as well as 5ghz. Testing on both 3.15RC3 kernel as well as 3.13.0.24 kernel - stability and connectivity improved. Seems to be a non-issue at this point. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1315202 Title: 8086:08b1 (rev 73) [Asus M5A97] Intel AC7260 Drops AC WiFi Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Desktop machine with Intel AC7260 + Bluetooth drops AC 5ghz wifi connection. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1315202] Re: 8086:08b1 [Asus M5A97] Intel AC7260 Drops AC WiFi
I have done a day of testing with kernel 3.15.0-031500rc3. Stability has been improved - No disconnects/drops. Connectivity is still at 51-53/70, but other than that seems to be working fine with Transmission as well as SSH. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1305305] Re: 8086:08b1 [Sony VAIO SVP1321M2E] Wifi keeps dropping.
Same issue here. Using the Intel AC7260 + Bluetooth PCI-e for desktop with 14.04. Connection drops, then need to disconnect/reconnect wireless or restart wireless networking. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1305305 Title: 8086:08b1 [Sony VAIO SVP1321M2E] Wifi keeps dropping. Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Using a Sony Vaio Pro 13 with Ubuntu 14.04 the wifi keeps dropping. Sometimes all the time, at times after a bit longer (~10 min). A few packages ago it didn't drop, but was really, really, slow. Now it completely drops. Adding the following to modprobe.conf made no change: options iwlwifi 11ac_disable=1 options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1 After each new row I ran: sudo modprobe -rfv iwlwifi sudo modprobe -v iwlwifi Tried turning off the power management of wlan0 without any change.
