Works with http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily-live/current/ However, I clearly pointed to the patch that fixes this issue. It's fixed in upstream since 3.9.x, and it's still fixed with 3.11. Rebuilding nouveau.ko with following patch https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux- stable.git/commit/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/core/subdev/bios/init.c?id=f6853faa85793bf23b46787e4039824d275453c2 and replacing to old nouveau.ko in /lib/modules.. and initrd fixed this issue. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Saucy Salamander. This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please perform as much as possible of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
