We are trying to override the existing ipv6 modue with the Customized ipv6 module. The "insmod ipv6.ko" is failing with "Could Not insert module ipv6.ko" Invalid Module format The error log states " Exports Duplicate Symbol" icmpv6_err_convert (owned by kernel)" We have tried blacklisting ipv6 in the blacklist-rare-network.conf. Even after disabling and blacklisting ipv6 module we face this issue,Ideally module should be inserted after the blacklist. (The overriding of modules with the following steps is executing fine with ubuntu Version 8.04) whereas we are failing with error for this process in Ubuntu version 13.04 OS Version : Ubuntu 13.04 Linux Kernel : 3.8.13 Thanks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1207176/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
