[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1237541] Re: Artigo A1100 Fails to Boot/Install with 13.10 Beta 2
Redoubts, as per http://www.viaembedded.com/en/products/systems/1351/4/ARTiGO_A1100_ %28Pico-ITX%29_%28EOL%29.html an update is available for your BIOS (1.04). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command: sudo dmidecode -s bios-version sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette . Thank you for your understanding. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1237541 Title: Artigo A1100 Fails to Boot/Install with 13.10 Beta 2 Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I have an Artigo A1100 mini-computer, which ran Ubuntu 13.04 fine.
