I think that fixes it, I ran another ping test and saw nothing higher than 2ms save one random 20ms over a few hundred pings. Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.15 kernel[0].
