[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1380160] Re: [Dell Inc. MP061] suspend/resume failure

2014-10-14 Thread Francisco Cribari
I am having the same problem after I upgraded to kernel 3.13.0-37.
Everything works fine with 3.13.0-36. Resume after suspend takes a long
time, sometimes when I try to suspend I am taken to the log in screen
and after resume networking does not work (I need to restart Network
Manager). I am running Ubuntu 14.04 (64 bit) on a full HD DELL XPS 13
notebook (Intel GPU).

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1380160] Re: [Dell Inc. MP061] suspend/resume failure

2014-10-14 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Francisco Cribari, you wouldn't be having the same problem as you don't have
the same hardware, nor is this bug scoped to you or your problem. If you want
your problem addressed, and so your hardware and problem may be tracked, could
you please file a new report with Ubuntu by executing the following in a
terminal while booted into the default Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline one) via:
ubuntu-bug linux

For more on this, please read the official Ubuntu documentation:
Ubuntu Bug Control and Ubuntu Bug Squad:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/BestPractices#X.2BAC8-Reporting.Focus_on_One_Issue
Ubuntu Kernel Team:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/KernelTeamBugPolicies#Filing_Kernel_Bug_reports
Ubuntu Community:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette

When opening up the new report, please feel free to subscribe me to it.

As well, please do not announce in this report you created a new bug
report.

Thank you for your understanding.
