Looks like this came back again in Ubuntu 17.10 Took me a while to find
this bug report. The 8086:095a rev 59 is having this issue

The laptop after this freezes when the error shows.

This hardware is not mine but a friend that recently migrated to Ubuntu
and has a laptop that has this issue.

  upgrade firmware version and firmware API in driver.

It's fixed in Ubuntu-1.127.12, and already

Zima - yes please create a new bug. It's best to do so by running
'ubuntu-bug linux' in a terminal, then lspci and dmesg and much more
relevant information will be included automatically. Thanks!

must be another firmware issue(different revision sth.)
